St. Louis Ninety-Nines Newsletter
April 2008
March meeting: Saturday, April 19, 2008
Tour of the Missouri State Police hangar and their fleet of aircraft at Spirit of St. Louis Airport (SUS). Meet at the Spirit of St. Louis Main Terminal at 9:45 am. Someone from the State Police will meet us there and escort us to the hangar.
There will be a meeting following the tour, and we will have lunch together at a restaurant in the Chesterfield Valley after the meeting.
Items Under Consideration:
1) Space is the theme of this year’s Learning for Life Adventure Days (day camp) for children in grades K-6. The organizers have asked the Ninety-Nines to participate. Sally Siebe will have more information at the meeting on Saturday.
2) Our Installation luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, at 12:30 pm, in the banquet room at Oliver’s Restaurant at St. Louis Downtown Airport. We will order from the menu.
Waypoint: The second issue of Waypoint is on the North Central Section web
site in the Members Only section. To access the Waypoint go to
www.ncs99s.org and click on the Members Only box. In the access
box enter NCS in the username space and member99! in the password box. T
he Waypoint is hiding under Publications and Forms. Air Marking: I have been very busy as work this year and have not had time
to plan and schedule the air marking at Greenville Airport. I know the folks
there really want to have it done and would welcome anyone who could take
over coordinating this project.
