CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
May 18-23: National NIFA Air Meet at Parks College. The ground event tests will be given all day on Monday, May 18. If you can help out, please contact Jody McCarrell (jmccarrell@windstream.net).
May 23: Installation Luncheon, 12 noon, Jimmy’s Cafe on the Park
May 27: Reception for Marijke Unger (Colorado Chapter) and Lara Carptenter at the Wings of Hope, beginning at 5 pm. See attached announcement. Marijke and Lara will be piloting Loki, Marijke’s 1976 Citrabria in the Air Race Classic to raise money for Wings of Hope. See Marijke’s blog at http://myfirstairrace.blogspot.com
June 13: NCS Final Planning Meeting for the International Conference. Contact Shelly Ventura (sventura@aldridge-electric.com)
June 23-26: Air Race Classic. The stop closest to St. Louis is Jacksonville IL. Entries are now closed.
July 22-26: The 99s International Conference at the Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel. For the event schedule see pp 8-13 of the January/February issue of the 99 News
August 29-30: Open House at Smartt Field.
October 23-25: NCS Fall Section Meeting at the Radison Riverfront Hotel, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
July 5-9, 2010: The 99s International Conference at Kona, Hawaii.
